This is #BattlefieldBeta: All-out warfare, 128 players, 4 specialists, Conquest, Orbital. However, the team size will be reduced by half for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, supporting two teams of 32 players a side, meaning the beta will not support cross-gen play.

The Battlefield 2024 will feature an “All-Out Warfare” in the Conquest mode available supporting battles of up to 128 players competing in teams of two 64 squads on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. The preload will start on 5 October at 7 am UTC / 8 am BST, with the beta coming to an end on 10 October at 7 am UTC / 8 am BST. Likewise, the game’s open beta will also start on 8 October at 7 am UTC / 8 am BST which will also run for 24 hours, ending on 9 October. The Battlefield 2042 early access period will commence on 6th October at 7 am UTC / 8 am BST which will run for 24 hours ending on 7th October for those who pre-ordered the game or current EA Play subscribers. BATTLEFIELD 2042 OPEN BETA ENDS FULL
We’re on track for worldwide launch on November 19th, and early access on November 12th, when players will have full access to All-Out Warfare, Portal, and Hazard Zone. The shift to November also gave us extra time to improve visual fidelity and stability issues that you may experience during the Open Beta. Since the time we branched the build for Open Beta, we’ve implemented numerous improvements into the launch build of the game. This is just a slice of the final product, and our vision for All-Out Warfare in Battlefield 2042. We’ve also scaled up more servers across the United States, Brazil, Germany, South Africa, Bahrain, Singapore, Japan, and Australia to make sure that we could get all of you onto the Battlefield. Rest assured, we’re monitoring and continuing to work on both of these things. We’re also aware that there is a small percentage of players still having issues. If you’re an EA Play subscriber, we’ve been able to get the majority of you into the game.
While we’ve solved some early capacity issues, we know a smaller number of players are still having some server issues. While that’s awesome and a huge milestone in our march to the game’s launch, the Beta - and your participation - remains essential to us solving issues with just over a month before launch. The team is thrilled by your response, and it’s so great to see you all in our Battlefield 2042 Beta creating incredible “Only in Battlefield” moments. Like all of you, we’ve been anxiously waiting for this day. It’s hard to believe we’re less than 24 hours into Battlefield’s Open Beta.
